The legitimate dynasty · GSOT 2.0
Under Kyren Walker and Devonta Branch, Denver won four clean titles in five seasons: CXXXVIII (2103), CXXXIX (2104), CXLI (2106) and CXLII (2107). This was one of football’s greatest offenses; its production should receive no weak-era or post-McCauley discount.
A rebuild Denver could not accept
Major injuries and defenses figuring out the offense caused its collapse. Branch’s catastrophic leg injury was the largest individual blow. Denver went 5–12, 1–16, 3–14 and 6–11 from 2109 through 2112. Walker and the GM faced dismissal. Winning had become so normal that rebuilding felt unacceptable. The organization’s later explanations reflect that dependence without literally declaring itself addicted to winning.
An organizational operation · 2112
The GM proposed Spy Gate 2.0. Walker ran it. Cameron Cole knew about it and used its information. Denver stole signs, illegally filmed opposing practices and obtained illicit competitive intelligence. The scheme involved the organization rather than a lone rogue employee.
The apparent four-peat
Denver won CXLVII in 2112 (27–20 over Atlanta), CXLVIII in 2113 (29–20 over the Giants), CXLIX in 2114 (39–6 over Washington) and CL in 2115 (36–0 over San Francisco). It appeared to be the first unprecedented four-peat. Cole quarterbacked all four runs and won each game’s original MVP award. He joined the Giants in 2116.
Exposure · August 17, 2117
Commissioner Jayden Thompson was still in office. He treated sign stealing and play-call theft as integrity violations and believed penalties should make cheating not worth attempting. His earlier Levi Cross ruling had already shown that official historical recognition itself could be withdrawn.
Jayden Thompson’s ruling
All four championships were vacated. Kyren Walker and the GM were permanently banned from the NFL. Cameron Cole was suspended for the entire 2117 season. Denver lost four first-round draft picks. Historical game outcomes and scores remain, but each season has no official champion. Losing teams do not inherit the titles.
Historical awards and official recognition
Cole has six historical championship-winning seasons and two officially recognized championships: 2107 as Denver’s backup and 2120 as San Francisco’s starter. He received five historical Super Bowl MVP awards, four in Denver and one in San Francisco. The official status of the four Denver awards remains unresolved. He also won NFL MVP and First-Team All-Pro honors in 2114 and 2115.
Two different legacies
Walker’s first dynasty remains legitimate. The scandal did not make his earlier genius fake; it revealed his unwillingness to accept losing. Branch’s five championships are all clean. Cole’s legitimate 2120 title with San Francisco establishes that he could win after the cheating was gone.
Still open
The GM’s identity and background; why Cole left Denver; why Branch chose Philadelphia; Cole’s Ohio State dates; Branch’s exact injury date/play, four MVP/AP1 years and full ten-season Pro Bowl list; Walker’s full coaching records. These remain TBD.
